Mobile Device Test Engineer

Perigee Integrations is looking for Mobile Device Test Engineer for Tier 1 wireless carrier in Atlanta. The job requires local residents or candidates will to relocate to the work location.

Contract duration: 6 months (with possibility to extend beyond that).

Project expected to start around mid-Sept or early Oct.

Position Summary:
The candidate is responsible for the verification, certification and validation of mobile device products and applications. Candidate should have experience in testing handset software in live networks in a mobile or & supported different carriers viz. AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile etc. Candidate must be technically sound on hardware/software development and release processes, detail oriented, able to identify, troubleshoot, and clearly document all problems and creating and testing E2E scenarios for core device functionalities.

Mandatory skills :
Versatile with complete ATT device certification process & good knowledge on network topology GSM, WCDMA, LTE and CDMA & technologies like IMS, SRLTE, CSFB, CMAS, SRVCC etc.

Domain Knowledge :

• Good understanding of Pre-AVDFT test documents (AGPS, AMBS, AMR-MM/MR, Bluetooth, Call Processing, Carrier Aggregation, Connectivity, CSFB, E911, Email, IMS Video Calling, IPME, Inter/Intra- RAT Mobility, IPv6, LAA, MFBI, MMS, MWI, OTA/SMS, NumberSync, Small cell, RF Performance, UCE, User Experience, Wi-Fi calling, WLAN, etc..)
• Solid understanding of wireless and mobile technologies (GSM/GPRS/EDGE, WCDMA/HSPA+, LTE, Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi®, RFID/NFC)
• Experience of AT&T RTC lab testing (10776-DDA, DDR,E911, AGPS, RF coverage, Wi-Fi calling, IR-FE, F4L etc.) highly desired
• Knowledge of wireless protocol log capturing and diagnosis tools for various chipsets such as QXDM, Wireshark etc.
• Support the log analysis for new feature testing from lab/field/IOT/carrier/regression test
• Create, execute, maintain and report on product feature performance, conformance, and regression tests
• Good knowledge on Android stack, adb commands and adequate work experience with android devices and QUALCOMM chipset.
• Exposure on defect raising, tracking and tools like Mantis, Bugzilla, Test Director etc.
• Hands-on in simulated lab environment with Network simulators like R&S/ANITE/ANRITSU/SPIRENT etc. & having experience of working in labs for PTN, PTCRB, DDR/DDA, GCF, NDET will be added advantage.
